NFL Sunday Ticket Charge
After being 20 yr Direct TV customer I was unaware NFL Sunday ticket was on auto renew with You tube. Once I noticed the $449 charge on my CC, attempted to reach out to YouTube via email, chat or phone.
To my surprise Google/YouTube has no email or CS phone contact detail. I sent a chat message but I have yet to hear anything. I filed a case with AmEx to stop payment and requested they find me a contact number. I am not expecting any miracles but it is amazing that UTube states that a TV subscription is non-refundable, shocking.
In 35 years of being a media customer on many fronts i have never heard of a company refusing to refund for services not wanted. Borderline fraud in my opinion.
All this was previous to week 1. Here we are going into week 2.
I clipped in UTube Help center screenshot detailing 7 day, 24 hour support via email, phone and chat but clearly that is fraudulent and does not exist.

Everything ruined
Asking us to suddenly sign in ? With what???
I watched YouTube exclusively on my TV. I wasnt even watching regular TV anymore because the videos I had saved and YouTube history and suggestions were so much better. Now everything has been erased, ever since this new sign in request. All my faves, history, suggestions, searches, videos related to searches, its like a foreign land.
My whole collection over the past year - GONE. Had to manually find at least what I could remember and even then it still refuses to have the vids pop up on the bottom or save anything. Instead they are suggesting stupid channels like weather reports and current news & events like school shootings who even gives a F about that. I just want my whole collection back that I truly enjoyed.
And now the ads are 3x longer and sometimes bundled into 2-3 ads all at once. What a *** show. It used to be brilliant. This BS started Sept.
5th 2024 Photo attached is yet another ad. Can barely even watch videos now (if I can even find them) with these ridiculous ads that are a waste of everyones time. NOBODY watches ads. They completely ignore them and swear at them.
I guess YouTube will be going out of business just like everyone else. You are a disgrace.

User's recommendation: Suggestion: Don’t ever enjoy YouTube too much, one day they will decide to erase everything, your watch history, suggestions, everything you had saved, then they ask you to “sign in” .. with what?? Terrible service. I enjoyed YouTube so much, but figures they found a way to ruin it. Idiots
I found a way to make it (somewhat) more the way it was. I clicked on one of those huge *** ads right on top of my screen blocking everything, and marked it as inappropriate.
Because it was. All ads are inappropriate and unwanted. Nobody deserves to be punished by suffering through these intrusive ads. Is YouTube going broke?
They must be, to need so many ads. Pitiful. I pity you. Anyway I got most of my stuff back.
Don’t you ever try your cheap *** tricks on me again. I need these videos for my job.

Youtube is great for people

Frustration
I was on YouTube before Google bought it. Before they started getting regular people to create monotonous video 'shows' they want me to pay for...
I feel like I'm being punished for not paying them. The algorithm they came up with refuses to put my videos in front of anyone. I have been trying for as long as anyone.
My analytics read nearly zero. I have had 33 subscribers for over 10 years.

I can't log in to my premium YouTube account
I can't log into my premium youtube account, which is associated with a bu.edu email address. I keep getting redirected to a page that says, "There was an issue signing you into YouTube.
Troubleshoot here."
I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone at youtube. I tried posting about my issue here https://support.google.com/youtube/thread/28926****?hl=en&sjid=208613****97839****-NC but it has not been answered.
I can't figure out how to get a youtube customer support person on the phone. I contacted BU's IT department and they told me to contact YouTube.
I cleared all my cookies, and made sure I was successfully logged into my email account, but I still could not log into youtube.
Preferred solution: I would like to be able to log into my YouTube account.

Cannot upload my videos
On my homepage, the same video I uploaded 10 days ago is stuck. When I go to manage video, it does not allow me to change it. The page still displays the same video and I cannot upload a new one.
Preferred solution: Can someone please explain to me why under manage video when I try to change the video? Why would it not let me change it? It’s been stuck on the same video for the past 10 days.
